Genna - Director/Teacher
Genna works with students with additional needs to help them gain employment and is passionate about Performing Arts. So she decided to put her two loves together and help get young adults with additional needs out of the shadows and into the limelight!
Genna has previously worked with children from the ages of 7-18 at Stagedoor Manor, a theatre school in upstate New York and has also performed around the world with P&O Cruises.
At The Limelight Academy we want students to learn how to sing, dance and perform and this is regardless of whether they would like to pursue a career in Performing Arts or simply get fit and show off to their family and friends!
'Having worked with young people with additional needs for many years, it became clear that their are many talented individuals who are not given the chance to perform to their best as it may not be possible to learn in a standard theatre school. With experience we have broken down each lesson to make it enjoyable and yet we want to develop the young people to strive to perform at the highest level, and why not? We also run beginners groups which we believe is vital for children to grow in confidence and build on their communication skills and working in a team.'
Chantel - Arts Director/Teacher

Chantel has worked alongside some amazing directors and has been teaching across the North West for the last four years, choreographing students for competition work and grading.
Chantel is now focusing on helping students with additional needs to reach their full potential and to shine in the limelight!
